The Songs are right: it IS a small world, afterall
Just when you think that you are truly orginal: flight booked, bags packed, family goodbyed, the economist read, and about to deboard your flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta on your way to Buenos Aires...you find out that there are people JUST like you, and they are sitting on the seat behind you.
Case: Lizzy (Elizabeth) Chapman
We went to Elementary, Junior High and High Schools together. We even ended up at UC Berkeley together, and while we have always been friendly, would we have ever imagined that we would be seats 37B and 38B on a flight to Buenos Aires to start 4 months of traveling across South America?
I certainly didn't, and I'm still recovering from the shock. And I thought that running into two classmates from Barcelona on the street in Rome was a coincidence. I even thought getting on the same car of the Metro in Paris as a friend was a coincidence.
